Mobile QA Engineer Requirements (Must Have, in priority order): • Experience testing multimedia streaming applications on android and iOS devices. • Experience in software testing. Mobile QA Engineer - Job Spec Responsibilities: • Lead in planning mobile test environment. • Participate actively in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle. • Create, maintain, write and execute automated test plans and test cases for black/white box testing and bug isolation of mobile software components. • Develop, execute and maintain automated regression tests utilizing both automated and manual test cases. • Participate in design and specification reviews, actively participate in daily Scrums and project planning meetings • Report defects and escalate issues as needed • Works closely with development team and product management to better understand intended product behavior and to prioritize testing. • Attention to detail, self-directed and agile in balancing and resolving conflicting requirements. Requirements: • 3-5+ years QA experience including white box testing, with solid understanding and experience in SQA methodologies, techniques and approaches. • Minimum 2 years experience testing mobile native applications. Completed multiple release cycles and shipped products used by thousands of people. • Cross-platform Android/iOS testing experience a plus. • Experience with mobile application emulators a plus. • Experience with automation frameworks such as JUnit. • Experience with issue tracking and test case management tools. • Experience in qualifying video content a major plus. • Experienced in setting and meeting challenging milestones. A self-starter who communicates well and excels in a small team environment. • Bachelor’s Degree in CS or equivalent
