Sr. Business Analyst

6 month contract

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Must be able to come in for an in person interview (Santa Ana, Ca)

 

Duties:

• Elicit, validate and translate business requirements into system definitions, Use Cases and software requirements documents.

• Analyze, organize and create functional and non-functional requirements, gather and document business rules, design and propose software solutions.

• Act as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff.

• Support software development effort by providing clarifications on requirements and design to application development teams.

• Identify and analyze problems, risks and change requests, research alternatives and drive solutions for items that impact project scope and schedule.

• Review quality assurance test cases and ensure they meet solution requirements as stated in the design documents.

• Write Acceptance scenarios and support business users through the UAT cycle.

• Maintain the documentation associated with internal software applications (use case courses, requirements, business rules, user interface specification.)

 

Skills:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline.

• 5+ years experience as a Business System Analyst with focus on software design. Full life cycle web application project experience is a big plus.
