Join all the Plenary sessions for an ultimate #INCOSEIW experience!

Dear James Martin,

Whether you’re joining the Annual INCOSE International Workshop in Torrance or from home, attend these Plenary sessions lined up on the first and last day of the event to get the utmost out of your experience. All times are in Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8).

Don’t miss the kick-off on Saturday, 28 January…

08:00 – 09:30 Opening Plenary
Get together with your fellow Systems Engineers in this ceremony hosted by the Board of Directors. You’ll hear about all of INCOSE’s important updates, and get a great insight of what to expect in the coming year.

10:00 – 11:00 FuSE Keynote
Get to know the Future of Systems Engineering initiative that is realizing the SE Vision 2035; learn about the related workshops; and listen to a keynote from Dr. Oli de Weck (MIT) on the foundations of our field, both from the scientific literature and industrial practice.

11:00 – 12:00 System Safety Keynote
Come listen to Nancy Leveson, a specialist in system and software safety and Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT! She developed the STPA (System Theoretic Process Analysis) and STAMP (System Theoretic Accident Model and Process) methodologies for accident analysis.

… And all the key outcomes on Tuesday, 31 January

10:30 – 11:00 Wrap up FuSE
Learn about the engagement of INCOSE working groups and initiatives as well as systems community partners; get key takeaways from this 2023 edition; and take a look at the outreach plan and future events.

11:00 – 11:30 Wrap up MBSE
Benefit from a handy summary of all of the exchanges on Model Based Systems Engineering, including critical updates on SysML v2, MBSE standards, liaisons, AI/Machine Learning and System Safety.

11:30 – 12:00 Closing Plenary
Enjoy looking back on the event’s highlights and statistics; listen to words from our President, Marilee Wheaton; and if you’re fortunate enough to be in Torrance, take advantage of a last opportunity for face-to-face networking before heading back home!
