The article linked below, in my view, explains and illustrates with diagrams how to tackle some of the knowledge representation challenges related to system knowledge bases being discussed on this list
If the architecture proposed below, or the problems being discussed here now are different from what discussed in the article below (and other related papers) (is it thirty years already?)
then we should perhaps charachterize our challenge more precisely, and create novel
architectures accordingly that can actually contribute new knowledge
