Hi all

Im a bit of a noob at this but i have a college assignment to do using
the PID basics, and i am having a bit of trouble just entering the
transfer equation. I have the following process transfer equation:
1/[(s+1)(0.09s^2+0.42s+1)]
Looking at the option in the settings\process transfer function\
option i cant see one of the defaults that matches, do i have to use
the matlab option? If so how do i go about this?

Thanks for all the help

Ciaran

Dear Ciaran,
you can include a free transfer function in Matlab format using the
menu option Settings -> Process Transfer Function -> Matlab num/den
format...

Using this option you will obtain a dialog where you can include your
transfer function as:

1, [0.0900 0.5100 1.4200 1.0000]

Best regards,
Jos Luis.
