I sent an email to Calerga, but never got a response. So I'll try
here. Does anyone know it they offer any special pricing to students?

I've hit a wall using Sysquake LE, and need to upgrade. On my website,
www.chasingtrons.com, I have a whole series of Sysquake tutorials
lined but, but having better graphics output and file i/o would make
the posts a whole lot nicer.

Dear Jay,

There is no price reserved exclusively to students.

We propose a 60 % discount on Sysquake Pro to academic institutions and members (including students of course).

Sysquake (non-Pro) was introduced as an intermediate version with the full built-in feature set of Sysquake Pro (including low-level file IO and graphic exports), but without native extensions and Sysquake Application Builder. From your request, it might be the best fit for your needs.

Sysquake LE, and applications created by Sysquake Application Builder, are free. Also free, Sysquake for LaTeX, for different purposes (reports, articles, thesis, books instead of interactive graphics) but which should also interest many students.

Best regards,

Yves

Too bad. I almost had my professors on the bandwagon to switch from
MATLAB to Sysquake, but we can get student versions of ML for $100.
