Role : Java Architect with Cassandra + Spark
Location : Atlanta, GA
Duration : 6 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java, Spark, Python, Hive, Pig.
• Experience with major Big Data Technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Experience in working on production big data solutions
• Experience in client-driven large-scale data lake implementation projects;
• Data Science and Analytics experience is a plus (Machine Learning, Recommendation Engines, Search Personalization);
• Technical team leading and team management experience, deep understanding of Agile (Scrum),
• Strong experience in Devops processes
• Solid knowledge of big data design patterns and concepts.
• Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis in big data technologies
• Solid technical expertise & troubleshooting skills
