Anyone Looking for BU17's?

Hi Everyone -

Magnolia will not be able to form a BU17 team for fall. We do have 6 players who would potentially play in another club if there is a team with room. Don't all need to be together. Ideally Queen Anne or Ballard, for logistics.

Any openings?

Dan Hickey and I coach the BU17 Cheetahs from Wallingford.  Two years ago, in attempt to sustain the Wallingford and Magnolia teams, I split my QASC team and sent players into Magnolia and some into Wallingford.  It would be a natural fit to bring those players over to the Cheetahs in Wallingford.

 

Currently, our roster sits at 14 or 15, so an addition of six would be great to carry us beyond this year as well.  In the past two years, we have worked out one day at Lower Woodland and one day in the mud at Interbay.  If granted more players from QA and Mag, I am certain that we would continue the practice.

 

We are very interested to take any players.

Thanks Anne and Pat! I'm the U15+ registrar for both Ballard and Woodland (since most of the work at those levels is combining teams across clubs). 

If all 6 players join the Woodland Cheetahs, that would be a total roster of 20 (14 are registered today) and only 18 players could be on the roster for city finals. This may or may not be an issue.

There is also a BU18 team in Ballard that could use a couple more players. I'm happy to add these players to either team. If they register in Ballard, I can send a registration code to waive the late fee, and in Woodland I can refund the late fee. Let me know which route they will go.

For the older teams (and Paige/Jessica will have to verify which they are) the each game day roster is 18 but you can have more on the total roster…

We have space in Shorelake at BU17. Currently our roster is at 13. We could add all of the players bringing the roster to 19 but I would assume one person may be missing a game each week so it shouldn't be an issue. We'd be happy to have them!

I know this is a much younger age group but if anyone is needing to send BU13 players away we could use a few more players at that level. I can send a code to waive their late fee when registering.
