Important Dates & Deadlines

Good afternoon, registrars!!

I want to update you all with important deadlines for City Tournament - these are all listed on the City Tournament web page, and were sent out to all U11 & Older coaches last week, but its important that you all are aware of them as well.

Recreational Player Registration Freeze Date:  October 15, 2017  (with this falling on a Sunday, we will allow registration through Monday, October 16, at 5 pm). 

City Tournament Registration - Open Thru Friday, November 3.

Late Registration - Available thru November 9, $100.00 late fee, space available basis only.

First Games will start on Monday, November 27, with the finals this year on December 16.

We have made some changes to the City Tournament rules.  These were outlined to all coaches in e-mail communication last week.  I'll forward that to you all shortly.

Does this mean that no players can reg. after Oct. 16th?

Hi Sue - 

It means that no players can play in City T unless they register before October 15 (well, today too).

Paige, is this a change in SYSA's bylaws? Those still state the players must be on a roster by October 31, and I just used them today to tell a coach he could still add a brand new player (one who hasn't been player soccer at all this fall) by October 31. I read the original email re: guest players only needing to assigned to a team by today.
