I was aiming for Friday, and for two instances of this, but I am proposing we start with one because I am travelling to the East Coast in the morning and have to switch gears for other tasks to do with the trip. Syrup is running on comet, and can be found at the url (note the trailing slash):

The good news:

* Z39.50 and SIP interaction seem to working out well

* we can accommodate multiple sites based on the url (so /syruposul/ for example)

* the database interaction is with postgres and can live with the evergreen tables

* uploading e-docs seems to be fine

The bad news:

* a few display bugs need to be tackled

* very little documentation exists

* slanted towards OWA users because of the account used for SIP

I am touching base with Robin this afternoon and cross-posting this to the syrup list.
