After a rather lengthy detour to meet the requirements of our Finance department, I am plunging back into reserves. A thousand apologies for the delays in this, I had hoped the workbooks would be a fairly simple workaround to buy us some time instead of  several thousand lines of excel coding to deal with the incredible intricacies of our JD Edwards interface, which we need to support on Sept. 1. I had promised notes for installing the reserves system under windows, and so I am going to start there since it forces me to clean up some of the quirks in installing the z39.50 python libraries. I am going to document this here:
