Just a reminder that we have a singing coming up this weekend

Can you bring any examples of, or books of, the secular versions of shape note music that you mentioned in November?

So will I.  Otherwise, my attention is on the MLK event.

 

I’m always a bit, actually a lot more than a bit, surprised when folks don’t seem to give a hoot for the MLK Event at the Dome on (1/26). Let me know if you are interested, because I’m sure that we’re still recruiting singers. In fact, I just signed up three more.

I have some tunes from the Sacred Harp with secular words for tomorrow and a copy of the Shenandoah Harmony is on order for next month. :)
