Ok had a detail discussion with both banks .. Icici Lombard and Bajaj Allianz .

Bajaj Allianz is an obvious win.

The insurance advisor at SLutzker Centre just advised my senior to buy Student Elite gold plan by Bajaj Allianz .

Advantage of this insurance over icici ..

Icici for a cover of $250000 is around 35000 Rs. and for $500000 is around 47000 Rs. per year .

Bajaj Student Elite gold for a cover of $20000 is Rs. 16480 and if u pay by credit card 10% discount to get it to  Rs. 14832.

Icici is not cashless ..Bajaj is cashless for above 500$ .

other stuff is pretty much the same .

Bajaj Allianz seems the better one now .. coz i am definately doubting ICICI now that they have started spamming our groups . Ive lost all trust . Ill make a comparison sheet hang on .

Ishan is our savior!
Dude, what happened all of a sudden? In the afternoon you were saying that the Study USA-Healthcare plan sounded good. And now Allianz??

Yeah ... i am not happy with the 70-80% compensation .. if its a bug amount .. the 20% will hurt like hell !
Coz honestly ... we are all taking insurance for the case of some serious accident ... and if we get a bit screwed in that point itself .. then its kind of not worht it . Also i dint find Bail Bonds or proper Dental Relief details .

I have compared Bajaj Allianz and TATA AIG plans thoroughly, and I
would prefer to go with TATA AIG even though it is a little expensive
(Best plan Rs 24K but it covers every tiny detail for students). But
few of my friends are planning to buy BAJAJ Allianz because they are
offering a discount of 10% if there are more than 7 persons getting
insured, which makes the student's GOLD ELITE plan for about Rs 14,800
per person (365 days) [original cost is around 16K]. Also, my friend
said that Syracuse University should first accept the policies offered
by TATA AIG and only then I should consider purchasing it, hence I
have emailed the Uni regarding the policies (awaiting reply).

So please let me know if anyone has bought TATA AIG plan or should I
just go with Bajaj ?
Thanks. :)
