Saludos Marcelo   GIORGIO MORODER Hansjörg Moroder (Giovanni Giorgio Moroder) es un reconocido compositor y productor musical italiano nacido en Ortisei, principal localidad del Val Gardena, el 26 de abril de 1940. Dio color e innovación pura a la música disco de los años 70s, llevando el uso de los teclados y sintetizadores a su máxima expresión, para ser precursor de muchísimos géneros más en los 80s y 90s. Sus comienzos se remontan en pequeños viajes por Europa, junto a grupos pop de la época tocando bajo y guitarras. Hasta que se une a Pete Bellotte y Donna Summer en 1975 para componer y editar "Love to love you baby", dando así comienzo a una exitosa carrera propia y para aquella morena estadounidense. Luego de sus primeros discos oficiales, en 1978 participa de la banda sonora de la película "Midnight express", obteniendo el Premio Oscar por su tema "The chase". En 1979 graba un álbum titulado "E=MC²", el primero elaborado en forma totalmente digital. La década del 80 culminaría plasmada de rotundos éxitos, ya sea por discos producidos, como por bandas sonoras; o temas principales de eventos deportivos masivos, como los Juegos Olímpicos de Los Angeles ("Reach out", 1984), Seúl ("Hand in hand", 1988) y el inolvidable "Un estate italiana", para el Mundial de Fútbol de Italia (1990). En 1980, realiza la banda sonora de "American gigolo", protagonizada por Richard Gere. En 1982, produce la música del film "Cat People". En 1983 participa del soundtrack de "Scarface", una remake del film de 1932; y produce el tema "What a feeling" para la película "Flashdance", recibiendo el Premio Oscar a mejor banda sonora por segunda vez. En 1984 compila una serie de canciones para la restaurada edición de la película "Metropolis" de 1927, donde participan populares artistas como Freddie Mercury, Pat Benatar, Billy Squier, Bonnie Tyler, entre otros. También participa de la banda sonora de "The neverending story". En 1986, nuevamente se alza con un Premio Oscar a mejor banda sonora, esta vez con el tema "Take my breath away", del film Top Gun, interpretado por Berlin. En 1987, compone "The fight" para el film Over the top, protagonizada por Sylvester Stallone. Otros films de renombre: Superman III, Rambo III, Electric dreams, Thief of hearts... Así mismo, recibió otra serie de premios como Golden Globes, People's Choice Awards, Grammys y Discos de platino y oro, etc. En 1998, Donna Summer recibe el primer Grammy por Mejor Album Dance, por su tema "Carry on" compuesto en 1992 con participación de Giorgio. En 2004, en la ciudad de Nueva York, lo homenajean en el Dance Music Hall Of Fame, por su labor como productor. El ex presidente de Italia, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, en el año 2005 condecora como Commendatore a Giorgio Moroder. A lo largo de los años, ha incursionado también en el arte multimedia, junto a su hermano Ulrich, obteniendo varios premios por sus trabajos realizados, como el caso del corto "A special tree". También ha participado de diversos documentales y musicales televisivos. Una de sus alternas creaciones, es aunque increíble, un auto deportivo italiano llamado Cizeta-Moroder V16T, desarrollado con el ingeniero italiano Claudio Zampolli, y diseñado por Marcello Gandini, entre 1991 y 1995.
