On 18 April 2018 I will offer a first workshop /reading session at the Stockholm Syntheist Node on Process Philosophy - if there is some interest, this will be a recurrent event.

I still don't know exactly how, but I hope some sparks of our live discussions will end up drawing a constellation on this forum

More info here:

Best wishes
Luis

Excellent initiative!
Unfortunately I will be in China April 18 but I would love to hook up later.
A suggestion is to call this "Process philosophy and religion". Let's include both.
Best
Alexander

You’re more than welcome, Alexander. Will see if this can be done weekly, every Wednesday, depending on the desire I feel coming from the attendees. And we might have a youtube backup for those who miss a session. I won’t include religion in the title for the moment to avoid any confusion for the non-initiated (“religion” and “communism” are historically heavy signifiers that i tend to avoid) but yes religion in the syntheist sense will be present all along the workshop. We are co-creating a God and a shared cosmology in anthrobotic times. I tried to synthetise some related ideas in this talk at the University of Vienna recently: https://crealectics.com/about/

Yours

A fantastic initiative Luis, thank you! I'll be in Portugal at that time, but will be sure to join you next time it happens when I'm in town.

And an excellent initiative it turned out! We were some 20 people present and there might be some combination of audio/video/presentation coming out to the public from it. The intention expressed was to continue the seminars (?) every second week, with conversation/reading meetings booked the weeks between.

Personally I still need to wrap my mind around the POP concepts (thanks for providing all the material Luis!) but it feels like fresh pastures opening up ahead. We have longed for qualified philosophy learning in the Node.

Best regards

Thank you for the kind words Carl-Johan, and thanks for coming with 360 degrees of various manifest qualities.

I could not have hoped for a better crowd. The next seminar session will be on 2nd of May.

All the best
