I am currently installing a ganeti-master on Synnefo node1. On getting to this line I encountered an error

To install Ganeti run:

# apt-get install snf-ganeti ganeti2 drbd8

The output:

root@astakos:/home/hipic-node1# apt-get install snf-ganeti ganeti2 drbd8

Reading package lists... Done

E: Unable to locate package drbd8

I tried looking for repos to add to my sources list but haven't found one that worked.

Thanks

What version of Debian are you using?

If you try to run the installation guide in Jessie, you should take a
look at the docs of the next (0.19) release that are available in the
Github repository:
https://github.com/grnet/synnefo/blob/develop/docs/install-guide-debian.rst

where you can find that you need "drbd-utils" instead of "drbd8".
However, keep in mind that the 0.19 version (which will support
Jessie) is not officially released yet.

Yiannis

Any chance this could be related to the previous issues you had, where you had mixed
jessie and wheezy repositories? Is this a clean installation or you just removed
the jessie repositories?

Kind Regards,
Filippos

Thanks everyone for your reply. It worked with drbd8-utils instead of just drbd8.
Problem solved.
