Does anyone has any synnefo ready basic windows 7 or 8 image?

Hello,

Why do you need those?
Windows 2008R2 and Windows 2012 are equivalent.

I want to test how useful it is to have a windows desktop to a synnefo installation and connect with RDP

I've tested it a year ago. There is no difference between the 2. Also,
Microsoft does not permit the use of Desktop Windows on virtual
hardware. Only server editions of Windows are to be installed on VMs.
