Layers of Application

Hi
I want to Show layers of application in my design Model.The
application has 10 subsystem that i model them with package with
"subsystem" stereotype.
I heard that I must model layers as packages too.But I don't know How.
The layers of the application are:
UI
Business layer
Business Rule
Common
Data Access

One option is to model the layers as packages with stereotype <<layer>>.
Use these packages as subpackages of your subsystems, e.g.

Subsystem A
-- <<layer>> UI
-- <<layer>> Business Rule
and so on

Subsystem B
-- <<layer>> UI
-- <<layer>> Business Rule
and so on

Another option to change the order, i.e. first layer packages, second subsystems, e.g.

<<layer>> UI
-- Subsystem A
-- Subsystem B
<<layer>> Business Rule
-- Subsystem A
-- Subsystem B
