You guys ever consider a kick-starter? With so many people upset over the direction of simcity5 and simcity passions running high I bet there is a lot of money/support to be gathered. I really want to see this project a full blown game. With a kick-starter you guys could afford to work on this full time and have more resources.

The thought did cross our minds. However, we have other full-time
obligations for the moment and for the immediate future which means
that even with funding we would not be able to increase our work time
significantly.

We will definitely keep Kickstarter in mind for the future. It will
also be nice to have something better to show as a project video then
what we can show today.
Finally, regarding our monster competitor's recent wake up, we are
aware of it and are planning for Synekism's future accordingly. More
details will come during our next monthly update.
