Discussion on preference-dialog-mockups

Draft two looks more like the web page preferences. Just an
observation. It might be nice to keep things consistent as much as
possible.

My original proposal to BOINC included synchronising the web and
manager preference interfaces, to make it easier for users. Synecdoche
doesn't provide a server package (yet), so we have no web preferences
to match. For me, draft 2 is better just because it's a more familiar,
less cluttered interface.

Maybe Rytis can help us achieve maximum consistency.

I have updated the property grid draft with an almost fully functional
screenshot.

Note the changes to the tree view, too.

I am liking draft 2.
As Kathryn said keeping it consistent is important.
How much work was it to remodel it from draft 1 to draft 2?
