Hi Folks

I am a new user of Syndesis and currently exploring the technology. I could figure out most of the features following the documentation, except for one; how to achieve multi-tenancy in Syndesis?

Use Case: I want to build an integration platform for multiple customers such that each customer can deploy their integrations. Furthermore, each customer is completely isolated from others.

One way I can think of achieving this is by running a separate instance of Syndesis for each customer in a dedicated namespace. But I would like to know if there any prescribed way of achieving multi-tenancy.

Any help with this will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Anand

Hi Anand,
installing multiple instances of Syndesis is, currently, the only way
to achieve multi-tenancy. We are fully aware that this is not the best
way forward, we do have some building blocks for single installation
multiple namespaces to deploy integrations to in place, but haven't
followed up on that fully. I think this would be a good opportunity
for you to contribute.

Hi Zoran

Thanks a lot for the quick response. I would definitely see how I can contribute to this.

Thanks

Hi Folks

I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask Fuse related questions. Please fogive me if that is the case.

Is creating multiple projects the way of achieving multi-tenancy in Fuse. Could you please your thoughts?

Thanks
Anand

Hi Anand,
contacting Red Hat support would be the best option for Fuse related
issues, this both gets you what you paid for and signals the need to
improve on the product features.

But in general, there is very little difference between Fuse Online
and Syndesis; mostly in branding and version alignment.
