Hi Fabio,

IMHO Upgrade Tools would be desidereable early, e.g. in Virtuoso 2.0
release.

I know, manage automatic upgrades and upgrades between different
versions it's not a trivial issue.

On one side, it can be a time consuming activity that can slow down
other important
featerues, on the other side it can favourite Syncope installations
(in particular in
evnironments with limited initial requirements).

Bye,
Denis.

Hi Muttley,
I agree with you. I do think that the upgrade tools are fundamental for an enterprise solution like Syncope.

Unfortunately Virtuoso 2.0 includes relevant architectural changes.
This means that moving the upgrade tools into Espressivo could result in a waste of time; from the other side, moving upgrade tools in Virtuoso would require more resources then available. However, this could be feasible by increasing dev community ... :)

Probably, the current roadmap is not so modifiable at the moment.
Do you see something that I'm missing? Please, let me know.

Ciao,
F.
