Cannot Fetch Calendar List

I have been using syncmycal for a number of years with no problems on my Windows XP machine / 32 bit and Office XP.  I recently bought a new PC running Windows 8.1 / 64 bit.  The installation of the new syncmycal went fine until I attempted to fetch my calendar list.  In the "Add Synchronization Step" window when I click on "Get My Calendars" I get the message:

Following error occurred while fetching the Calendar list:

Execution of request failed:

http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/default/allcalendars/full

I opened a support ticket, but have not heard back.  Anyone out there have any ideas?

Thanks

Update:  I installed the MS Office XP Service Pack 3 and I am now able to fetch my calendars.  I chose the appropriate calendar and then performed a synchronization from my Outlook calendar.  Everything went smoothly and when I checked the log it indicated that the changes in the calendar had been synchronized.  However, when I checked my Gmail calendar the changes were not there.  I seem to be getting closer.  Anyone out there have any ideas?

   Thanks

Hi James

I realise this is a bit late, but hopefully it's of some help to you (or others)...

After using SyncMyCal for some years, it stopped working at all for me. I couldn't find any support on it. Someone suggested I try gSyncIt, which I've found works fine, and continues to be updated and supported. I can thoroughly recommend it.

http://www.fieldstonsoftware.com/software/gsyncit4/ - you need v4 due to Google changing their calendar server support.

Hope that helps
Paul

No problem; glad it works for you.
