The Azure Information Protection (AIP) mobile apps enable you to view protected emails, PDFs, images, and text files that cannot be opened with your regular apps for these file types. For example, if protected emails show in your regular email mobile app as attachments, you may want to use the AIP mobile app to view that email.
The AIP mobile apps are viewers only, and do not enable you to create new emails or reply to emails, or create or edit protected files. The AIP mobile apps also cannot open attachments to protected PDFs or emails.
If you're a system administrator who wants to test the AIP mobile viewer apps for your org, or simply want to try it out for yourself, use the instructions below to walk you through the entire process.
The S1 Mobile Map Viewer for iOS is a free application developed by the Service First (S1) Mobile GIS team, sponsored by Bureau of Land Management, Oregon/Washington State Office and US Forest Service, Region 6.
There are many awesome free online web-based DICOM viewers, but this is not the case for mobile devices (Android or iOS). For many of them you have to pay: they are shown as free on the stores but require a subscription to access the tool.

In this blog, we will outline features that are entering into maintenance mode, cover timelines to sunset the AIP mobile viewer apps for iOS and Android, and also remind you about the upcoming decommissioning of the AIP Portal for labeling management and the AIP classic client.
As we progress on our journey to bring our customer labeling and protection experience using native applications such as O365 Office apps we will not be developing the AIP UL client and will be focusing to bring such value In a more natively integrated way.
The AIP unified labeling (UL) client is entering maintenance mode" on Jan 1st, 2022. This means that moving forward, no new features will be added to the UL client.
The AIP mobile viewer apps for iOS and Android are used to view protected emails and protected files such as PDFs, images, and text files that cannot be opened with regular apps for these file types on mobile devices.
After the mobile app sunset date, all relevant supported file types can still be consumed by AIP viewer for windows. We are evaluating alternative options for our customers that are interested in consuming protected PDF files via mobile.
NOTE: A recent change in app developer ownership created an issue in the HuntFishNY mobile app that was causing the app to crash upon launch. An update to the app was released on 8/21/23 that resolved the issue. Users who had previously installed HuntFishNY on their phones will need to update the app to the most recent version. For those users who have automatic updates turned on, the app should auto-update on its own. For users who have automatic updates turned off, you will need to go into the Apple App Store or Google Play and tap on the Update button to manually update the app.

i-PRO Mobile APP is an application that can view the images from i-PRO SmartHD Series / i-PRO EXTREME Network Cameras, i-PRO Network Disk Recorder or Digital Video Recorder (WJ-HD616/WJ-HD716). By connecting a terminal to a 3G/4G or wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), it is possible to view live images from cameras registered on the recorder and recorded images stored on recorders. Alarm notifications from network cameras and network disk recorders can be received by i-PRO Mobile APP by using the mobile notification tool (windows app).
Note: i-PRO Mobile APP does not support third-party cameras.
About Security
Please execute the following countermeasures to prevent security risks.
1) Please be encrypted between the mobile device and the wireless router.
2) Please enable sure device lock functions (password lock and screen automatic lock) to prevent unauthorized operations and information leakage and by using movie device.
3) If you set a easily guessable password, there is a risk of being caught out the password to a third party. Please set the estimated difficult password.
4) Please Use HTTPS as the communication method between the mobile device and the connected device (camera/recorder/PC) to prevent information leakage. When using HTTP, please be aware that there is a risk of information leakage.
5) If you want to repair, discard or transfer your mobile device, please initialize your mobile device.
6) Do not expose a Mobile Notification Tool with setting up a globally accessible domain name or a global IP to the Internet.
