Wolfram is launching the Computable Document Format (CDF), a new
public standard merging the simplicity of documents and
interactivity of apps into a single, computation-powered
knowledge container that empowers readers to drive content and
generate results live.
CDF is an evolution of the notebook (.nb) and is the new standard
for sharing Mathematica output.
As a Mathematica 8 user, you can already create CDFs
today--simply save output as CDF, and the free CDF Player lets
anyone interact with your content directly in a web browser.

See how easy it is to create CDFs in Mathematica 8:

documentation examples, and blog posts to CDF and encourage you
to start using the new format to give your ideas a broader
communication pipeline.

PS: You can also create CDFs that utilize up-to-the-minute data
or allow users to enter input. Please contact us to learn more
about how Wolfram Player Pro 8 enables this.
