Synagios v0.13 has been released.

This is to address an issue with Synology DSM 5.0.

See the Issue Tracker for more information.

Mark, Firstly thanks for all the work you have put in to this project! Getting Nagios running on my Synology has been great, and it works really well :)

That said, I do have a query (sorry)...  Is there a way to configure host parents using the nagrestconf interface? I can't find the option anywhere, nor can I find a place in the config files (within e.g. /volume1/@appstore/Synagios/nagios-chroot/etc/nagios3/objects/local/) that I could amend with this additional field.

Any input you can provide would be highly appreciated!

Many thanks

Hi Kevin,
Sorry for the delay, I've been packing boxes all weekend for moving house next week(ish).

The 'parents' option is only supported in the REST api, see http://nagrestconf.smorg.co.uk/documentation/restreference.php#_hosts - it has an X in the flags column.

I have not yet had to use this option but understand that it's very useful so I will add it to the Issue Tracker for inclusion in the next release. (Issue #17)

As a workaround you could use the REST api to add the option. If the REST commands are added to a script then the script would need to be run after a configuration is applied. Unfortunately this would need to be done after each 'Apply Configuration'.

Cheers!
Mark.
