Hey, SymPy community. I am familiar with python, c++ and have had a fair programming experience in both, being an engineering undergraduate I have a fair knowledge of mathematics and calculus but am relatively new to the open-source community. I have made it a point to get familiar with git and GitHub. I am willing to learn anything that helps me effectively contribute to SymPy as I am intrigued by the idea of symbolic mathematics. Just want to make sure that I won't be too late to get in touch with the community now and it would be alright to work on my proposal for GSoC 2021. Seeking your go ahead.

It's not too late. The deadline to submit is April 13, which is still
over a week away.
