SymPy Paper

Now that we have SymPy 1.0, it is time to write a paper for SymPy
(along the lines of these https://www.scipy.org/citing.html). If you
are interested in being a co-author for this, please let me know by
the end of the week.

We use the following criteria for authorship credit [1]:

1) substantial contributions to conception and design, or acquisition
of data, or analysis and interpretation of data

2) drafting the article or revising it critically for important
intellectual content

3) final approval of the version to be published

Authors should meet conditions 1), 2), and 3).


Fredrik, you already satisfied 1), and you are involved in writing the
paper, so you'll satisfy 2) and 3), so you should be an author.

Good point. The criteria that I posted from [1] are actually taken
from ICMJE, but you can see that the publication [1] is from 2003, so
I assume that ICMJE added the accountability statement later, with
which I fully agree.

For reference here are the updated ICMJE criteria:

* Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work;
or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work;
AND
* Drafting the work or revising it critically for important
intellectual content; AND
* Final approval of the version to be published; AND
* Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring
that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the
work are appropriately investigated and resolved.


So let's follow the updated criteria.
