Implementation of multiple types of coordinate system for vectors.

Dear Developers,

This is Shreya Shetty from India.I will be applying for GSOC this year.I have gone through the sympy gsoc 2016 ideas list. I found the following topic"Implementation of multiple types of coordinate system for vectors" quite interesting and I would like to contribute to it.I have a good understanding on vector calculus and can code in python. The name of the potential mentor is not mentioned in the list. I would  like to know the potential mentor and also if there are any prerequisites for the above mentioned project.

I would be really grateful if you can guide me in the right direction.
