GSOC Project: Singularty Solver and Solverset

Hi,

I am Devee Prasad Mohapatra I will be GSOC applicant this year. I am currently pursuing my b.tech in IIIT Bhubaneswar. I have good proficiency in python and c programming language. Mathematics as a subject interests me a lot.

I am, a beginner to be frank and any advice on how to proceed and contribute to the sympy community will be highly appreciated. I would like to know about the Singularity Solver and Solverset of sympy. Right now for my GSOC, I need answers to certain questions so as to propose a project with sympy.

1. I would like to know the status of singularity solver and Solverset.

2. What are the issues currently sympy is facing.

3. What other abilities sympy wants to have in the above two mentioned abilities of sympy.

Any other advice will also be highly appreciated.
