GSoC 2017: Interested in Group theory and polynomials

Hello Developers,

I am Vladimir Leskov, a second year undergraduate in Computer Science at Ural Federal University.

I have been using sympy for a while and now i would like to contribute in it by myself.

After looking through the ideas, i found these three especially interesting for me:

1) Group theory.

2) Univariate polynomials over algebraic domains.

3) Multivariate polynomials and factorization.

Also I am interested in solvers, however I still have no idea for GSoC plan on them.

If any mentor is interested in mentoring any of these projects, I would like to discuss it in more detail.
