Hello everyone,

My name is Mohammed Mehdi Hedayati, and this is my first post on the SymPy mailing list.

I am a first-year engineering student from India and have been programming in Python and C++ for over four years. I mainly use Python for algorithmic problem-solving, mathematical computing, and academic projects.

My mathematical background includes courses such as Mathematics for Computer Engineers, Discrete Mathematics, and Design and Analysis of Algorithms, along with undergraduate-level calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics. I am particularly interested in symbolic computation, algebraic manipulation, and mathematically rigorous algorithms.

I have been using SymPy for symbolic algebra, simplification, equation solving, calculus, and working with symbolic probability expressions as part of my coursework and self-study. I am keen to learn more about SymPy’s internals and eventually contribute to the project.

I look forward to learning from the community and participating in discussions.

Best regards,
Mohammed Mehdi Hedayati
