Guidance for GSOC 2023

Hello Everyone , I am shivam sudram 4th year undergraduate at IIT Mandi, I have 4+ years of experience in python(1.5 years of working experience). To continue my learnings and contrivute to open source problems I would like to contribute to sympy particulary in the project  "POLYNOMIAL GCD" , Please provide me guidance on where to get started and what all resources should I refer.
