Introduction: Srushti – Aspiring GSoC 2026 Contributor

Hello SymPy community,

I am Srushti, an Artificial Intelligence and Data Science student, and I am interested in contributing to SymPy ahead of GSoC 2026.

I have experience with Python and its libraries, along with familiarity in calculus, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics. I also have working knowledge of Git/GitHub. I have set up the SymPy development environment, completed the tutorial, and started reviewing “Good First Issues.”

My areas of interest include symbolic calculus, equation solving, performance improvements, and documentation.

I would appreciate guidance on suitable beginner-friendly issues.
