Just a heads up: sympy gamma is on the front page if hacker news right now: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7145219

If some of the core devs are available to respond to some comments there, it might be a visibility boost for the project and obviously for sympy by association.

Thanks for the heads up. We'll have to check the logs later to see if
it resulted in any noticeable spike.

We were posted on r/python as well, and now we've reached our quota.

I didn't realize it wasn't on a paid plan. I'll talk to Ondřej.

Oh apparently we *are* on a paid plan! but we hit the budget. Ondřej is bumping it.

It is, but we hit the cap on daily cost.

In case people are curious, here is the Hacker News effect. The dip to
zero was when we hit our pay quota.

I guess now we need to improve Gamma more. And if you are interested,
GSoC applications to work on Gamma (and/or Live) are welcome.

I think we fixed the quota pretty quickly, so the interruption was
only for about 2h if I remember correctly.
Looking the traffic, it looks like once the website started to work,
the traffic went right where it was before.

Hi,

As of now sympy gamma needs more improvement to make it much better than the current version, I have got aware of the code, logic and workflow of the sympy core module code implemented till date. I would like to work on it further so as to improve, But I would stuck in deciding where to start from and which module to pick first to start working on it. I am looking forward to seek your guidance on which modules needs more improvement picking from the easy tasks slightly increasing the levels higher.

I am very much aware of the technologies, libraries and APIs used in the development of Sympy and ambitious to learn the technologies aside while working.
