Greetings all.

Is there any chance of SymPy 1.10 being made available on the default Anaconda channel rather than from conda-forge? I've discovered that both pip and alternate channels break certain package compatibilities that I must otherwise maintain. I suppose I could create a new environment just for SymPy, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Thank you to all who make SymPy possible.

You'd have to reach out to Anaconda to ask them to update their
package. We control the pip and conda-forge packages, but it's up to
Anaconda to update the defaults channel.

Thank you. I will do that.

Just to follow up, I solved the problem by creating an Anaconda environment that only uses the conda-forge channel so I automatically get the latest version of SymPy (including the recently released 1.10.1 update).
