Introduction

I am Asish Panda, currently a sophomore in International Institute of International Technology Bhubaneswar, India and pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I would like to contribute to SymPy. I also plan to apply for GSoC 2015, although as of yet I haven't decided on the project I would like to work on.

I have 1+ year of experience in coding in python and previously contributed to open source softwares before. I am always curious to learn new stuff in python(or computers in general) and I believe SymPy would help me to learn great deal of pythonic ways and maths! :)

Decide what mathematical area you find interesting and start fixing easy-to-fix issues. For example, if you are interested in matrices, have a look at easy-to-fix issues in matrices here
