Question about the utility of 'plot_list' function regarding to refactoring old plots

I hope you're all doing well.

I'm looking to contribute to improving the plot functions in Symbolic Control Systems. While exploring the potential ideas list, I noticed the mention of the plot_list function, which hasn't been implemented yet. It was suggested that this function could simplify refactoring, but I'm unsure about how plot_list might assist in this process.

Could someone please explain the role of the plot_list function in facilitating refactoring?
