Hi, Please read the contributing guide(https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/Introduction-to-contributing). In addition, also take a look at README(https://github.com/sympy/sympy/blob/master/README.rst). Take a look at this list(https://github.com/sympy/sympy/labels/Please%20take%20over) for stalled PRs. Feel free to open a new one for continuing one of these.
Hello, I am Ruchir Chheda, a student of IIT-Bombay, 2nd-year student, pursuing Electrical Engineering. I have seen the tutorials on Sympy. I am very much interested in what Sympy can do and how it helps us in representing functions and plots. I want to contribute to Sympy. How should I exactly get started for the same?

I am Nicolás Guarín-Zapata, PhD candidate at Purdue University. I am comfortable using Python (and SymPy), and have developed some packages using them. I have contributed to SymPy in the past doing things like: testing ODE solvers, documentation, website translation to Spanish (and some other minor stuff). Currently, I lecture a course in "Advanced Mathematics for Engineers" where we use SymPy.
