GSoC 2014: Improving the plotting module

Hi,

I am Ambar Mehrotra, a student at Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS Pilani) university. I am pursuing Msc. (Tech.) Informations Systems currently in my 2nd year. I am interseted in applying for GSoC 2014 under SymPy's banner. I have a  descent experience with python and i have worked with various graph plotting modules both in python and other languages. I have an experience with matplotlib, PyQtGraph, PyQwt, qwt and Google Charts API to name some.

Someone please guide me about how to proceed with the work and what all is required to be done.
