Hello all,

My name is Kiyohito Yamazaki in Japan, my native language is japanese. I work for a small company in Japan.
I have been programming in several languages for over 20 year. However, I cannot become an expert of programming. I am becoming more common to engage in planning to develop products.
Now, I focus on quantum computing. I  would like to use SymPy to simulate quantum computation and to develop quantum applications. I am exciting to sympy's powerful expressive. I continuously hold study sessions to learn quantum computation using SymPy in Tokyo.
Hopefully, I might find some points that I would like to improve within sympy.physics.quantum package.

I look forward to collaborating with you!

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Kiyohito.

That's great to hear.

I would warn that there are currently not very many people who are
able to review code additions the quantum module, so if you do make a
pull request and no one reviews it let me know and I'll try to help
find someone who can.

Hi Aaron,

Thank you for your comment.
I hope that more people will be interested in the quantum information features in SymPy.
Despite of the situation, I would like to try to improve the feature if possible.

Now, I have the issue that error occurs in calculating between an UGate operator and well-defined Unitary operators.
First of all, I think I would like to report the issue in Github.
After some discussion, I am going to fix the problem and make a pull request.
Could you allow me to open the issue?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,

Kiyohito

Hi Aaron,

Thank you for your guidance. I could open an issue.
Then I think I have fixed thanks to members' support.
I hope it will be merged to master at the next update.

Best Regards,
