Hi everyone, this is  Sandeep here, I am a 2nd  year student at IIT BHU  . my passions
lies in competitive programming and  in  mathematics  .  I found immense joy doing these stuff and currently my area of interest lies in  Machine learning and artificial intelligence (doing it from past 1.5 years ) ,though I also bear a basic understanding of web development and  databases .
I have found  expertise in  Linear algebra ,Vector algebra, probability and statistics ,statistical inference, Numerical analysis courses  .

but I am new to this culture of open source contributions and wanted to contribute .

You might find the following software of interest.  It depends on sympy to extend linear algebra -

You have good skills , it will be bit easy for you to learn about sympy. For contributing to open source you have to learn about that perticular repository even if it is good first issue. Use tag good first issue (try oldest one) , then the issue will have two or more tags , go to those tags and learn from solved issue or in pull requests section , ask mentors below that solved issue or the issue you want to solve. How you will start working? I will recommend to use jupyter notebook for solving a issue. Remember solving first issue may take upto 2-3weeks.
