Hi SymPy community,

I'm Meer Patel, a 3rd year B.Tech undergraduate from
Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India, applying for GSoC 2026.

My contributions so far:
- PR #29538: Fix directional limits of Piecewise at discontinuities
  (fixes issues #27236, #23836, #26313 — 44/44 CI checks passing)
- PR #29501: Type annotations for sympy/solvers/deutils.py
  (reviewer feedback from oscarbenjamin addressed)

I'm applying for a Large (350h) project covering:
1. Limits and Series — hardening the Piecewise fix, fixing symbolic
assumption limits, and systematically resolving nan/NotImplementedError cases
2. Solvers type annotations — continuing from PR #29501
