A student intrested in contributing towards this community

Hi all, I am an Maths and computer Science undergraduate from BITS,Pilani,Goa and i am interested in contributing to this community. I know C,C++,Python.This is first time i am attempting to join an organisation. It would be grateful if someone helps me to understand where to start and what to do.
