[Symplectic Seminar]

안녕하세요. 이상진 입니다. 

이전에 안내 드린 바와 같이 이번 주 금요일(4월 10일)부터 Lecture series를 시작합니다. 첫 번째 Lecture와 시리즈 전체에 관한 사항들을 다시 한 번 안내 드립니다. 

- Lecture 1: Overview (이석주), 4월 10일 10시-12시, 서울대학교 129동 309호 / 포항공대 수학과 404호 (실제 강연은 포항에서 이루어질 예정이며 서울에 계신 분들을 위해 함께 들을 수 있는 공간을 서울대에 마련하여 두었습니다.)

- Series Topic: Floer theoretic filtrations on the quantum cohomology of symplectic $\mathbb{C}^*$-manifold.

 

- Abstract: This semester, we propose to narrow the focus of the Symplectic Learning Seminar to a topic related to one of the themes of the Symplectic Retreat 2026, algebraic structures in symplectic cohomology.

The topic we have selected is recently studied algebraic structures — particularly Floer-theoretic filtrations — on the quantum cohomology of a certain class of non-compact, not necessarily exact symplectic manifolds, so-called symplectic $mathbb{C}^*$-manifold [RZ23]. This class of manifolds appears in several areas of mathematics, including toric geometry, 2D mirror symmetry, 3D mirror symmetry (through conical symplectic resolutions), singularity theory, and the theory of Higgs bundles. Despite their broad presence across these subjects, their Floer-theoretic properties have not yet been extensively developed. Thus, we expect that this theme will provide a natural point of interaction for participants with different backgrounds, while also sufficiently recent to stimulate further research.

- 시간: 4월 10일부터 매주 금요일 오전 10시-12시. 

- 장소: 실제 강의가 이루어지는 장소와 무관하게, 서울대와 포항공대에서 함께 모여 강의를 들으려고 합니다. 이번 주는 서울대학교 129동 309호 / 포항공대 수학과 404호에서 모일 예정입니다.
