Title: Cylindrical contact homology in 3-manifolds with weakly convex contact forms

Abstract: Cylindrical contact homology is an important tool for studying periodic Reeb orbits. However, it may not be well defined due to some transversality problems involving multiple coverings of curves and orbits with low index. The main obstacle to defining the boundary operator is the presence of undesirable buildings that arise as SFT limits of a family of pseudo-holomorphic cylinders with Fredholm index 2. We present conditions under which a weakly convex contact form admits a well-defined cylindrical contact homology.
