Hello,

we are looking for a talented Software Engineer willing to join us to move GoalShouter faster than ever.

We are a VC-funded startup based in Italy

and we help football clubs of any size to better engage their passionate supporters (see GoalShouter on the app store).

Our new office is in sunny Pescara (1,5 hours flight far from Girona Airport) and remote candidates could also apply.

The position is FULL-TIME and Permanent and the *yearly net salary* is related to the candidates' skills and experiences,

but in any case no lower than € 30.000.

*You* 

We're looking for a brilliant and versatile mid/senior-level software engineer to help us improve and scale GoalShouter.

The candidate should be excited to solve problems and wants the opportunity to have a big impact on the company and the product, able to turn work around quickly, meet deadlines, and communicate issues clearly to non-developers 

*You will* 
- Maintain, refactor the current codebase and implement new features 
- Improve and scale existing product and infrastructure 
- Work on all parts of the code-base and contribute to every stage of the product development cycle 

*You have* 
- CS or equivalent degree or an equivalent working experience 
- Professional/Experienced skills in one or more of the following areas: 
-- Building full-stack real-time web applications 
-- PHP programming with enterprise level frameworks (Symfony…) 
-- Ruby programming for other micro-projects and/or tools
-- Data-modeling using relational and/or schema-less databases 
-- Sql knowledge including cloud and replicated databases 
-- Bootstrap/Jquery/AngularJs expertise 
-- Expertise using, testing and developing APIs for mobile applications and third-parts clients 
-- Great Git usage and best practices 
-- Knowledge of most of the AWS products which leverages our infrastructure (AWS Lambda, RDS, S3, SNS, SQS, etc..)
-- Configuration of servers with Chef (we use OpsWorks) 
-- Docker containers basics and usage 

*Plus for* 
- Html/Css/Sass ability 
- D3/Backbone experience

- Grunt/Gulp experience
- Willingness to iterate, familiarity with sprint-based development 
- Willingness to follow continuous integration/deployment patterns and testing code against bugs and performance issues 
- Willingness and ability to tackle problems outside your comfort zone
