newbie - please help

Hello,
I know that is a group for developers and not for users.
Indeed, I can consider myself in both categories :-)
So, I'm trying sfPaymentPayPalPlugin and I'm stuck with an issue:
while the test is going fine (but I had to change all buttons' labels,
since paypal translate them in locale language, so mine are in
italian, not in english), the sample is always failing. I checked the
logs and found that the ipn is checked twice: one first time by
paypal, and it's succeeding, the second one after returning to my
site, and it's failing (that's pretty obvious, since the verification
has already took place). So, where's the problem? Why the ipn is
checked again after returning?

any help will be much appreciated

Hi,

it could be problem with character encoding from Paypal, did you try
setting UTF-8?
