Position: QA Lead (Billing)
Location- San Diego, California
Duartion-6 Months to 12 Months

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

· As a lead, he/she will have end-to-end ownership of the Validating and Deploying billing platform.

· This role requires the candidate to collaborate with the systems engineering and development to ensure completeness of all requirements.

· Liaise with the product deployment team for all field and support queries.

· Design and develop QA Testing frameworks.

· Ensure that the product is compliant to all required security and quality standards.

· Constantly come up with innovative ideas to improve the product and validation framework.

· Project Management

· Vendor Management

Mandate/Must skills required:

· 5+ years of managing R&D teams with 5+ people.

· 12-15 years of product testing experience in a diverse set of areas including Carrier Class Networking Product Development.

· Extensive working experience of Validating Billing Platforms on Unix Like systems.

· Extensive experience in building QA frameworks to support Automation of

· Continuous Integration

· Functional / Regression testing

· Extensive experience in evaluating and developing performance test beds.

· Experience in Dev-OPS.

· Technical insights into Billing HA and Failover areas are a MUST.

· Working experience of HA and Scalable distributed systems is a MUST.

· Ability to hire, motivate, retain and develop talent

· Experience in managing a project independently.

· Experience in managing third party vendors.

· Effective communication, organization, and decision making skills

· Extensive experience in billing protocols like DIAMETER, RADIUS is a MUST.

· Working Experience in credit control and charging applications.

· Excellent debugging skills.

· Working experience with Linux or other UNIX systems and system internals

· Strong understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.

· Expert in 3GPP EPC protocols and working experience in validating products built of these protocols is a MUST.

· Scripting knowledge in python, perl is a MUST.

· Experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases like MySql, couchbase, cassandra and REDIS a MUST.

· Excellent verbal & communication skills.

· Experience in leading a team technically.

· Self-motivated and driven about latest technology trends.

· Awareness of configuration tools like GIT will be helpful.
