Hello everyone,

As not all of our production invironments are fully migrated to PHP
5.3 I wonder will the DI component still work on 5.2?
I can see the 5.3.2 is a requirement for Symfony2 itself, but we just
want to use DI component standalone.

Thanks a lot,
Dmitry.

The PHP 5.2 version of the DI should be compatible with PHP 5.3.
The PHP 5.3 version is only guaranteed to be compatible with PHP 5.3.2
and up.

Hi Fabien,

Thanks a lot. One more question - is the distribution available at
SymfonyComponents and Github the one for PHP 5.3?
And if so - i see in the docs that it had been decoupled from symfony
to be used outside of framework - can the actual 5.2 version be used
standalone?

Dmitry.

Everything is available on Github.

Both can be used standalone.
